New Delhi, June 19 -- Japanese automaker Nissan has globally revealed the new-gen Leaf, which has received quite a makeover, with a crossover inspired styling. The car has sharp LED headlamps paired with a seamless body-coloured panel, 3D taillights inspired by the Nissan Z, rear door handles mounted on the pillars, sleek, flush front handles, and 18-inch and 19-inch wheel options. It boasts improved aerodynamics, with a drag coefficient of 0.25 in Europe. The Leaf, introduced in 2010, was among the first modern electric vehicles to hit the market. Nissan says that it has sold close to 7 lakh units worldwide since then, which is quite impressive for any car, and especially notable for an EV from that early era.
