India, Nov. 9 -- Toyota Kirloskar Motor has recalled a total of 6,309 cars and SUVs in India, including both Toyota and Lexus models. The Toyota models recalled include the Camry, Land Cruiser, and Vellfire, and the Lexus models recalled include the RX, NX, and LM. All cars have been recalled due to a common issue affecting the rear view camera.

The exact reason for the recall has been stated as a potential fault in the 360-degree camera system of the cars, wherein a software error in the respective ECU could cause the rear view image to either freeze while reversing the car, or not appear at all, in certain cases.
