DERGAON, Oct. 16 -- Frontline local nature organisation AASHRAY is organising the sixth edition of State-level tulsi plantation contest on the occasion of Kati Bihu on October 18.
The preliminary stage of the competition will be held at the residence of the participant itself where they will have to plant the tulsi plant on Kati Bihu evening by observing all formalities.
Participants across the State will have to upload video footage or photographs covering all aspects of tulsi plantation by the contestant from 5 pm to 8 pm on October 18.
After examining the videos or photographs by members of the jury, the shortlisted participants will be interviewed through mobile or video calling for final selection on October 20.
