GANGTOK, Feb. 8 -- Chief Minister PS Golay on Monday laid the foundation stone of National School of Drama (NSD) centre at Tamla, Assam Lingzey, in East Sikkim. The NSD is one of the foremost theatre training institutions and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959 and financed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Golay along with his spouse Krishna Rai also took part in Bhoomi Puja of the campus.
