SHILLONG, April 18 -- The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) has set a May deadline to the Meghalaya Government for setting up the entry-exit points in the State to check influx or face agitation.

FKJGP president, Wellberth Rani conveyed the organisation's decision adopted at a meeting on Wednesday. The FKJGP is set commemorate its 30th anniversary on May 6 this year. As part of the celebrations, former members like Cabinet Minister AL Hek and others would be invited next month.

'We will have no alternative but launch an agitation if the State Government fails to set up the entry-exit points by May,' Rani said.
