DERGAON, April 24 -- Preparations are on to hold the 26th foundation day of Assam Press Correspondents Union (APCU) with a day- long programme on April 30 at Bapuji Mandir here.
A reception committee has been constituted with Dergaon MLA Bhabendra Nath Bhorali as the president, Bhola Hazarika as the executive president, Pranab Chakraborty as the general secretary and Indubhusan Mahanta and Lachit Bora as the secretary respectively. The programme will begin by plantation of saplings by OC Dergaon PS Prasanta Bora and Dergaon Forest Beat officer Niren Baruah, followed by flag hoisting by Manoj Singh, Bhabendranath Bhorali along with 25 other persons.
