Washington, May 16 -- : Declaring a national emergency, US President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order barring American companies from using telecom equipment made by firms believed to pose a "national security risk."

The order gives US President Donald Trump the power to regulate interstate trade under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, according to Sputnik.
