New Delhi, Nov. 8 -- : India opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has thanked fans for cheering the team after defeating Bangladesh in the second T20I in Rajkot on Thursday.

India won the match comfortably by eight wickets as stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma played a knock of 85 runs off 43 balls while Dhawan scored 31 runs.

"All happy faces after a good game. Thank you for all the support. Kudos to @ImRo45 for his great knock," Dhawan tweeted.

The 33-year-old amassed 41 runs in the first T20I in Delhi where Men in Blues suffered a seven wickets defeat.

India has levelled the three-match series at 1-1.
