Geneva, April 9 -- : World Health Organisation (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Wednesday (local time) defended the organisation's handling and response to the coronavirus pandemic, a day after UN health body came under stinging criticism from US President Donald Trump.
"Please don't politicize this virus. It exploits the differences you have at the national level. If you want to be exploited and if you want to have many more body bags, then you do it," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was quoted as saying at a news conference in Geneva, Switzerland by CNN.
