Jakarta, May 1 -- The Indonesian workforce, with its immense size, remains a vital pillar of national development efforts, according to Minister of Manpower Yassierli.

"With nearly 145 million workers, Indonesian laborers form the largest and most crucial entity for the development and progress of this country," he noted in an official statement cited here on Thursday.
