Wonosobo, July 2 -- Central Java's Wonosobo will host the Java Balloon Attraction 2025 on Sunday (July 6) at Kalianget Recreation Park to mark the 200th anniversary of the district.

The head of Wonosobo's Tourism and Culture Office, Agus Wibowo, said that the event will be a vibrant fusion of tradition and innovation.

It will feature 36 tethered hot air balloons forming aerial patterns and depicting regional icons such as Mount Sindoro and Menjer Lake, Wibowo informed.

The event is being organized in collaboration with the Wonosobo Balloon Community.

The Ministry of Law will hand over an intellectual property certificate recognizing the Wonosobo Balloon Tradition to the Wonosobo district head at the event.
