Jakarta, Feb. 19 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization signed a grant agreement and the 2026-2027 Joint Workplan to strengthen the country's health system and build resilience, officials said Thursday.
"Through this agreement, WHO Indonesia is providing US$14.8 million in grants, goods, and services to support health programs during the 2026-2027 Biennium," Secretary General Kunta Wibawa Dasa Nugraha said.
Nugraha said the cooperation aligns with WHO's 14th General Programme of Work, the ministry's strategic plan, the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan, and six pillars of health transformation.
