Jakarta, July 25 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka called for support in developing waste-to-energy power plants (PLTSa) by establishing a comprehensive waste management system, from upstream to downstream, to ensure waste is processed according to type.
Speaking at the Green Impact Festival 2025 in Jakarta on Thursday night (July 24), he urged like-minded young people to contribute to the PLTSa agenda by sorting waste they produce at home.
"It should be noted that PLTSa requires waste from your homes as its fuel. Hence, I want you to contribute to this movement by sorting the waste, which is not easy," Gibran remarked.
