Jakarta, July 16 -- The Ministry of Manpower ensured that the wage subsidy assistance (BSU) disbursement continues to run to maintain people's purchasing power.

The ministry's Director General of Industrial Relations and Workers' Social Security, Indah Anggoro Putri, noted that in addition to maintaining the purchasing power amid economic pressures, the BSU is intended to boost national economic growth.

"We want to ensure that workers continue to have purchasing power so that households' consumption continues to grow," Putri noted in her statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
