Mataram, Aug. 2 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, accompanied by West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Governor Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, inspected the prices of staple goods at the Kebon Roek traditional market in Ampenan District, Mataram City, on Saturday morning.

The visit was part of the vice president's two-day working trip to the province, which started on Friday (Feb 1).

During the market tour, Vice President Gibran was seen purchasing a variety of kitchen staples, including shallots, garlic, chili peppers, palm sugar, tempeh, and other food items.

"I have bought chili, shallots, palm sugar, and many more," Gibran stated with a smile as he greeted vendors and local residents who welcomed him warmly.
