Jakarta, March 20 -- Indonesia's Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka urged youngsters to adapt to artificial intelligence (AI) at an event in Jakarta on Thursday.
He noted that nowadays, young people in several countries are being equipped with AI skills through formal education curricula.
Therefore, he expressed hope that Indonesia would not fall behind and would quickly adopt similar steps.
"In other countries, their governments have already started doing this. Their young people are encouraged to learn AI," Gibran said during the "Artificial Intelligence: Shaping Indonesia's Future" event.
