Jakarta, Sept. 5 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka conducted a late-night patrol on Thursday (September 4) to oversee the implementation of the neighborhood security system ( siskamling ) in several areas of Jakarta and to visit a local market.

The visits were aimed at ensuring the stability of community activities following protests held last week.

According to an official statement released in Jakarta on Friday, Gibran began his visit at the security post of RW (Neighborhood Association) 04 in Kembangan Utara Subdistrict, Kembangan District, West Jakarta, surprising residents preparing for their night patrol duties.
