Jakarta, Jan. 29 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited residential areas in Surabaya City, East Java, to personally greet residents, listen to their aspirations, and identify the actual problems they face.

According to a statement received from his secretariat here on Wednesday, Gibran paid a visit to Malang Tengah Village, Tegalsari Sub-district, on Tuesday (January 28) night.

"This spontaneous visit was dedicated to heeding the aspirations, hopes, and concerns of local residents," the secretariat stated.
