Jakarta, Feb. 18 -- The Indonesian Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) has named Arsin, the head of Kohod Village in Tangerang District, Banten, as a suspect in a land certificates forgery case linked to the illegal sea fence in the district.

He is among the central figures named in the Tangerang illegal sea fence issue following the discovery of right-to-build and ownership certificates for the submerged land where the structure stood. The government has since annulled the certificates.

"We name Mr. A (Arsin), the Kohod village head (as suspect)," Bareskrim's director for general crimes investigation, Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, confirmed here on Tuesday.
