Jakarta, Aug. 27 -- The Ministry of Cooperatives is currently inventorying unused village assets to be utilized to boost the operations of the Merah Putih (Red and White) Cooperatives, according to Deputi Minister Ferry Juliantono.
In a statement delivered in Jakarta on Wednesday, Juliantono emphasized that without the support of physical assets, cooperative business activities cannot run optimally. Assets such as village halls, former SD Inpres school buildings, and facilities previously managed by PT Pos Indonesia, but currently unused, can be optimized.
"So, the number and location of these assets need to be inventoried so they can be used by the village cooperatives, which are expected to begin operating around August to September,"...
