Wamena, Jan. 13 -- Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is scheduled to begin an official visit to Wamena, Jayawijaya District, Highland Papua Province, on Tuesday, according to the local police.

Chief of the Jayawijaya Resort Police, AKBP Anak Agung Made Satriya Bimantara, stated that Vice President Gibran will stay in Jayawijaya for two days as part of his official agenda after concluding activities in Biak Numfor District, Papua Province.

"Based on the information we received, the vice president will spend two days in Wamena. He is set to arrive on Tuesday to visit several locations and stay overnight. The following day, he will visit more sites before returning to Jakarta," he said.
