Jakarta, Aug. 8 -- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie urged all universities in Indonesia to pursue research activities to attract investments, similar to leading global universities.
At the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) in Bandung, West Java, Friday, she highlighted some top universities that generate substantial income, such as Stanford University, which benefits from its human resources and partnerships with the private sector.
"As of today, Stanford University generates US$2.7 trillion in annual revenue, ranking it one of the top 10 economies in the world," Christie highlighted.
