Depok, W Java, Nov. 9 -- Vocational Education students from the University of Indonesia (UI) have launched the Village Care Tourism Movement to enhance community capacity in tourism management, digital promotion, and public health awareness.
One of the initiative's main activities took place on Untung Jawa Island in the Seribu Islands, Jakarta, organized by students from the UI Tourism Business Management Program.
Head of the program, Anisatul Auliya, said in a statement on Sunday that the movement serves as a learning platform for students to understand their role as agents of change in tourism and community development.
