Makassar, S Sulawesi, July 20 -- The Makassar Immigration Office disclosed on Sunday that three of 97 foreign nationals, employed by 20 companies in Gowa District, South Sulawesi, have violated Indonesian immigration rules.
The violators comprise two Chinese citizens and a Pakistani national, the Makassar Immigration Office head, Abdi Widodo Subagio, said regarding the Operation Wira Waspada his office recently launched.
Operation Wira Waspada is designed to provide legal certainty for foreign nationals in Indonesia and to ensure compliance with the country's laws and regulations.
