Jakarta, Oct. 23 -- Twenty Indonesian nationals have escaped from an online scam and gambling compound in Myanmar's Kayin State amid a major security operation, the Indonesian Embassy in Yangon said on Thursday.
The group fled the KK Park complex in Myawaddy, a notorious area under the control of the Border Guard Force (BGF) known for hosting online fraud and gambling syndicates. More than 300 foreign nationals, including about 75 Indonesians, reportedly escaped on Wednesday as Myanmar's military, the Tatmadaw, prepared to raid the site.
