Jakarta, June 15 -- Governor Pramono Anung said one of the Jakarta Province's sources of income to finance the construction project of giant sea wall came from turning waste into electrical energy.

Speaking at the Jakarta Future Festival, held in Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) on Sunday, Anung said Jakarta's current regional budget has reached Rp91 trillion (around US$5.5 billion).

While expecting Jakarta's regional budget to increase next year, he said the average budget surplus (SiLPA) is recorded at Rp5-6 trillion (around US$307-368 million), and the real SiLPA is estimated at Rp2-3 trillion (around US$122-184 million).
