Jakarta, Feb. 14 -- President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced his plan to greet his counterpart from Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, with a horse parade during his visit in April 2025.

"Maybe one thing I can do is to organize a welcome ceremony featuring a horse parade, which I think is a great idea. We will also involve military troops and make other preparations," he remarked.

The Turkish president shared his welcome plan for Prabowo's upcoming state visit during a talk show streamed on YouTube from Jakarta on Friday.

President Erdogan expressed his admiration and amazement at the high level of hospitality he received from President Prabowo and the Indonesian public during his state visit to Indonesia on February 11-12.
