Jakarta, July 17 -- Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) has prioritized the supervision of freight vehicles and ensured fair wages for truck drivers to implement Indonesia's Zero ODOL policy.

"We must also focus on regulations to improve the welfare of freight vehicle drivers," he stated while opening the Coordination Meeting on Handling Over-Dimension-Over-Load (ODOL) vehicles in Jakarta on Thursday.

According to AHY, the national action plan for implementing the zero ODOL policy will cover employment aspects with decent work standards for drivers, particularly regarding wages, social security, and legal protection.
