Jakarta, Dec. 11 -- The Ministry of Environment has stated that the world is currently facing a triple planetary crisis: climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.

The ministry's Deputy for Climate Change Control and Carbon Economic Value Governance, Ary Sudijanto, said in his keynote speech at an event here on Thursday that the level of crisis faced by the world, including Indonesia, has reached a point that threatens human existence.

If society, including businesses, does not make efforts to emerge from this crisis, Sudijanto warned that humanity would face existential threats on Earth.
