Jakarta, April 2 -- A tree collapse in a public square in Pemalang, Central Java, which hosted the Eid al-Fitr prayer on Monday (March 31), resulted in three fatalities and left a dozen others injured.
The two victims, Rasmono, 42, and Anita Rahmawati, 39, died after being hospitalized on Monday, while another victim, Rasmani, 71, passed away later, according to Second Police Inspector Widodo Apriyanto from the district police on Tuesday.
Among the injured, Titi Sundari, 68, sustained major injuries, while 15 others suffered minor injuries. They have also been moved to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
