Jakarta, June 10 -- Deputy chairperson for downstreaming at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Tony Wenas, has underlined the importance of responding carefully to any new tariff policies that are announced after the United States-China trade talks.
"The tariff policy needs to be reviewed as much as possible, especially several offers and other potential cooperation that can be carried out between the United States and Indonesia," Wenas said here on Tuesday.
Wenas, who is also the president director of PT Freeport Indonesia, said that any new policies that evolve out of the US-China meeting would have an impact on several strategic sectors such as mining.
