Jakarta, Sept. 5 -- Bus rapid transit TransJakarta has resumed operations at the Bundaran Senayan bus stop by carrying out a functional trial, following repairs after the demonstrations at the end of August.

"Passengers can now board and alight at Bundaran Senayan. The shelter is fully functional again," TransJakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza said in a written statement received here on Friday.

According to him, the Bundaran Senayan bus stop reopening supports the target set by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung for all damaged bus stops to be operational within a week, including severely damaged ones.
