Tangerang, Banten, Oct. 17 -- The Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Indonesian Migrant Workers' Protection have joined forces to enhance the potential and role of Indonesian migrant workers in supporting the nation's exports.
The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Tangerang, Banten, on Friday.
Trade Minister Budi Santoso said his ministry is committed to involving Indonesian migrant workers in export training and promotion programs to help them become entrepreneurs and exporters after returning home.
"We want migrant workers not only to work abroad but also to learn and serve as Indonesia's trade representatives," he stated.
