Jakarta, Oct. 19 -- The total transactions recorded at the 2025 Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) reached US$22.8 billion, surpassing the initial target of US$16.5 billion, according to Trade Minister Budi Santoso.

"The transactions recorded during the 40th Trade Expo Indonesia amounted to US$22.8 billion," he said during the event's closing ceremony in Tangerang District, Banten Province, on Sunday.

The figure comprised US$17.9 billion in goods trade, US$443.7 million in services, and US$4.37 billion in investment.

The transactions were derived from memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth US$22.7 billion, on-the-spot deals totaling US$71.6 million, and business matching agreements valued at US$63.4 million.
