Jakarta, Nov. 10 -- Japan's Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) plans to invest US$100 million to support Indonesia's downstreaming of tin and copper, a senior official said on Monday.
Toyota Tsusho, part of the Toyota Group, is a global Japanese trading and investment company.
Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Todotua Pasaribu said the company, a trading partner of state-owned tin producer PT Timah Tbk, plans to build a solder paste production facility in Indonesia.
The project is still in its early discussion phase and is expected to be developed in collaboration with Timah as the local partner, he added.
