Jakarta, Feb. 8 -- Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri announced on Saturday that Indonesia successfully maintained the growth of both domestic and international tourism during the first 100 days of President Prabowo Subianto's administration.
"In the first 100 days of this government, the Ministry of Tourism has successfully sustained the growth of both domestic and international tourist visits, which continue to rise compared to the same period in 2023," she stated in an official release.
The latest data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that foreign tourist arrivals reached 13.9 million in 2024, up 19.05 percent compared to 2023.
