Magelang, July 4 -- A total of 2,007 Buddhists participated in the Indonesia Tipitaka Chanting (ITC) and Asalha Mahapuja 2569 BE 2025 at Lumbini Park, located within the Borobudur Temple complex in Magelang District, Central Java.

The event's organizing committee chairman, Tonny Coasan, announced in Magelang on Friday that the program runs from July 4 to 6, 2025.

Since 2015, the ITC has become an annual tradition, drawing Buddhists from both Indonesia and abroad to Borobudur Temple.

This year, international participants include devotees from Cambodia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
