Jakarta, Feb. 27 -- The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) confirmed that it has received proposals from three countries for the development of a nuclear power plant (PLTN) in Indonesia.

Vice Chairman of the Energy and Mineral Resources Department at Kadin, Aryo Djojohadikusumo, stated in Jakarta on Thursday that the proposals for PLTN, which is planned to be on-grid by 2032, come from the United States, China, and Russia

"From these three countries, and coincidentally, all three involve Kadin members," he remarked.

Djojohadikusumo explained that the proposals are still in the negotiation stage, but the United States has already established a partnership with Kadin members.
