Jakarta, April 20 -- Three Indonesian citizens were awarded F-2-16 residency visas by the South Korean government in recognition of their efforts in rescuing individuals during a forest fire last March.
"We are immensely proud that these Indonesians, despite any challenges they may face, made a significant contribution to rescuing fire victims," stated Zelda Wulan Kartika, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul, as quoted from the embassy's press release on Sunday.
She made these remarks during the award ceremony for the three Indonesians - Sugianto, Leo Dipiyo, and Vicky Septa Eka Saputra - held at the South Korean Ministry of Justice office in Gwacheon on Friday.
