Jakarta, June 20 -- Jakarta, Riau Islands, and Yogyakarta will have a surplus of digital talent by 2030, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs projects.
Based on communication and IT graduate data, the surpluses of individuals who possess the specialized skills and knowledge necessary to thrive and innovate in a digital-first environment are expected to reach 225,014 in Jakarta, 28,496 in Riau Islands, and 42,446 in Yogyakarta, the ministry stated.
According to the ministry's Human Resources Development Agency head, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, digital talent growth is closely tied to the expansion of the digital industry.
