Jakarta, Feb. 22 -- Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Erick Thohir praised the commitment shown by a Vietnamese automotive company in creating an electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.

Thohir stated that the actions taken by VinFast demonstrate the company's dedication to supporting green transportation and providing economic opportunities for the Indonesian people.

"I appreciate the commitment that VinFast has shown to Indonesia. They have come to Indonesia to build an ecosystem," Thohir said at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) at JIExpo Kemayoran here on Saturday.

According to Thohir, the company wants to offer green and environment-friendly car services.
