Jakarta, June 30 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, has revealed that in its second-best offer on reciprocal tariffs, Indonesia has sought US investment collaboration with Indonesian Investment Management Agency Danantara in critical minerals.

"Indonesia invites America, along with Danantara, to invest in the critical mineral ecosystem (in the country)," he said here on Monday.

The critical minerals include copper, nickel, and those needed for the electric vehicle (EV) industry, military equipment, and the electronics industry.

Furthermore, the investment will be a brownfield type, for example, with PT Freeport.
