Jakarta, May 21 -- Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani has emphasized that investment in sustainable energy projects is still a priority to support the 2029 target of 8 percent economic growth.

He said that the government is committed to achieving net-zero emissions (NZE) by 2060, or even, expediting efforts to achieve it earlier by 2050.

"We believe that our growth of 8 percent is achievable by 2029, and at the same time, we also support sustainable investment, considering we have enormous potential for it," he added here on Wednesday.

"So, investment in clean and renewable energy is among the priorities that we want to carry out," he continued.
