Jakarta, June 11 -- Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno, has urged the industry and academia to help build the digital competencies of the youth to tackle global economic competition.

"We invite the industry to actively participate in the implementation of programs through teaching or mentorship, providing infrastructure for practitioners, learning and training facilities, and opportunities for the Indonesian young generation," he said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

"For academia, universities also serve as the backbone of this transformation," he added.
