Jakarta, Jan. 9 -- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Stella Christie, is targeting the completion of the flagship STEM-focused Garuda School in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, by June 2027.

"The construction process is planned to begin in 2026 and is targeted for completion no later than June 2027, so that it can accept students in the 2027/2028 academic year," Christie said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.

She emphasized that Garuda School reflects President Prabowo Subianto's commitment to ensuring that every child of the nation gets a quality education and is globally competitive.
