Jakarta, Dec. 4 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka said the Indonesian government is accelerating the distribution of logistical aid and repairs to essential infrastructure, including bridges, in flood- and landslide-affected regions of Sumatra.
He delivered the statement during a visit to an evacuation post in Agam District, West Sumatra, on Thursday.
"The distribution of logistical aid will continue to be expedited through land, air, and sea routes. Repairs to communication networks, community health centers, schools, bridges, and roads will also be accelerated," he said.
