Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Pratikno emphasized that both university-based and hospital-based specialist education should not only meet national demand for doctors but also foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

Speaking here on Wednesday, Pratikno noted that all forms of education-including specialist training-must integrate technology.

In the health sector, this includes telemedicine, genome sequencing, and AI-driven care.

"Ladies and gentlemen, once again, we must strive not to remain mere consumers of technology. That means conducting research-whether through universities or hospitals," he said.
