Tangerang, Oct. 17 -- Indonesia's Trade Minister Budi Santoso said Spain has expressed interest in investing in Indonesia to take advantage of the country's broad export access to multiple markets.
He explained that Indonesia holds a trade advantage through various agreements, including preferential trade agreements (PTA), free trade agreements (FTA), and comprehensive economic partnership agreements (CEPA) with 30 countries.
"We recently met with a Spanish delegation. They were very interested in investing after learning about Indonesia's export opportunities to many countries," Santoso said.
He noted that Spain's investment interest is driven by its goal to reach markets in Europe, Asia, and beyond.
