Jakarta, Feb. 8 -- The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has ensured the smooth distribution of logistical aid to alleviate the suffering of tornado victims in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi.
"We already have a joint team distributing logistical aid since Friday to residents affected by the disaster in Luwu," head of the BNPB's Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, said in a statement released by his office on Saturday.
He assured that the logistical aid distributed in the form of food packages is sufficient to meet the needs of the affected residents.
Muhari informed that the tornado did not cause fatalities in South Larompong and East Lamasi sub-districts, Luwu, on Friday.
