Banjarmasin, July 29 -- South Kalimantan's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) enhances coordination and community understanding through a public outreach campaign on weather and climate literacy to prepare for the dry season and forest and land fires (karhutla).
Klaus Johannes Apoh Damanik, Head of the Class I Climatology Station in South Kalimantan, stressed the importance of understanding weather and climate information-particularly that issued by BMKG-as a reference for operational decisions in the field.
